Articles contained in the Kentucky Pest News (KPN) newsletter are submitted by University of Kentucky Plant Pathology, Entomology, and Weed Science Cooperative Extension Specialists in the Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment. Topics cover a variety of timely insect pests, diseases, and weeds of concern that are occuring in commercial and residential plantings. Articles containing pesticide updates, Plant Disease Diagnostic Lab highlights, insect trap counts from Princeton and Lexington, and training opportuniites are also often included.  Featured Publications and Videos articles highlight new and update Extension media. 

Current issues are in an e-newsletter format available online. Newsletter articles are posted weekly throughout the year; email notifications of new articles are sent to a subscription distribution list each Wednesday morning.
